The staff and doctors at ECVR offer consultations in surgically and medically related diseases primarily affecting dogs and cats. We function on a referral basis to assist in the management of complicated cases on a specialty level. The surgical service specializes in the management of complicated soft tissue, orthopedic and neurosurgical disorders. A wide range of procedures are performed, including but not limited to:
  • Arthroscopy
  • Total hip replacements
  • Tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO)
  • Tibial tuberosity advancement (TTA)
  • Triple pelvic osteotomy
  • Fracture management
  • Sports-related injuries
  • Partial elbow replacement (we maintain a cutting edge approach and are currently one of a select few practices involved with a novel approach to the procedure)
  • Soft tissue surgeries (cardiothoracic, oncological, gastrointestinal, urogenital and spinal procedures)

ECVR was initiated to assist regional veterinarians in the diagnosis and treatment of complex medical and surgical diseases. As such, ECVR accepts appointments on a referral-only basis, and effort is made to work in close coordination with your primary veterinarian to optimize your family member's health care needs. Please bring any pertinent information regarding your pet's health condition, including blood work, radiographs and any lab results.
